The venue has that old school wooden floors and a sense of music history about it. The venue has hosted a tremendous amount of talent over the years including Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, jethro Tull, Jimmy Hendrix, Jerry Seinfeld, George Carlin.the list goes on and on. Typical shoving and pushing with general admission concerts. They do have some seated concerts, with folding chairs on the floor, so be aware when purchasing tickets. If you get to the venue about 1-1/2 hours early you might get a seat. Most concerts are general admission with no seating on the floor, so be prepared to stand for 3 or 4 hours. The venue is small and holds about 2000 people. I believe there were 6 total bars serving drinks and seating against the walls. The theatre is a giant open venue with the stage situated in the center North wall area. Typical low security with metal detector wands. The entrance to the theatre is on Ocean Blvd across from the beach. Average ticket prices go for around $50 and up depending on artist. The open forum theatre has plenty of parking within a 1 block radius. My wife and I visited the casino ballroom for the first time last night to watch a music concert headlining Billy Currington.
